I am back after long time with new Haiku for the Carpe Diem Time Glass #18. Wherein we were supposed to write/compose a haiku in which there are more than one senses (hearing, seeing, touching) found, following this beautiful image as our source of inspiration.
Here’s my Haiku inspired by this beautiful image. I have tried not to limit my senses 😀 😀 to pen down this inspired thought within the strict framework of conventional Haiku spirit. I wrote this one in less than 2minutes this time. Don’t forget to share your insights. Cheers ❤ ❤
So, it’s been long time again catching up with you all. Yesterday again, I caught the glimpse of our lovely friends perched on the tree, for finding their food. We have Bird feeders for the winters, in our back yard; these lovely companions spread cheers around braving the chills of winters. The winters can be harsh for them; thankfully my elder daughter keeps tab on their food & shelter and keep me posted. So we spotted Northern cardinal birds again, they are regular visitor to our backyard. I clicked snaps randomly from my living room window, didn’t wanted to scare them away. Sharing few snaps of our fun trip to sledding & snow tubing. Cheers ❤ ❤

I said in my last post about snow fairy on retreat, it seems Snow fairy is back from her retreat as it has snowed finally. It’s time to admire the white beauty around us. The snow boots, mittens, fur coats, ear muffs, sled, snowman, soup, hot chocolate, marshmallows, campfires, snuggle are words which anyone ever lived or visited snow would definitely identify.
I chanced upon the little birdie taking rest upon one of the evergreen trees jumping from one branch to another to chance upon the winter bird feeder. When I looked outside my window, there were few more, little orange in color sitting quietly as my admiring eyes wander around. The thought crept in my mind about survival tactics and Nature’s creation. Everything looks so perfect like a rhapsody!
I tried to gamble my thoughts stealing away few moments of solitude, looking outside the window watching little ballerinas dancing and falling up above the sky in the form of snow flurries. It feels they are trying their mighty best to revel in the sky’s misty solitude.
“Silently, like thoughts that come and go, the snowflakes fall, each one a gem.”
