Walk With Me Day # 85

Those who dwell among the beauties and mysteries of the earth are never alone or weary of life.

~Rachel Carson

Weather is shinier and sunny these days, with abrupt cloudy noon, which is more than a welcome respite in soaring temperature. Sharing few snaps from my Nature Walk on the Memorial Day. It was a refreshing walk into the calm woods of our awe-inspiring neighborhood, one of the beautiful reservations of Cleveland Metro Parks, Ohio. We hiked a trail for about 1.5 miles, and the day ended with enjoying our supper in the Nature’s serene surroundings.

Ever wonder about these Catchwords, sunscreen, sun-hat, flip-flops, beaches, refreshing drinks, BBQ, Nap in a Hammock, a slice of watermelon with chunks of memories? What does summer mean to you? Share your nostalgic memories in the comment box.

Enjoy these Nature Graffiti! ❤ ❤

If you truly love Nature, you will find beauty everywhere.

  1. Walking by the side of lovely nature and taking self is the best thing one can think of, the real bliss and the pleasure is deep within. Weather here in India is crazy and people are under the bout of tremendous heat, if this continues how would may people who cannot afford the comfort of conditioned room to live and survive the extreme weather challenge…
    Have a lovely weekend.
    Happy Walking!!!

    1. Nihar! well-said! I know weather ka Kahar, even it got humid/hot here also. I echo your concerns, about AC affordability. Homeless people, birds, & stray animals are so vulnerable, I think everyone should do this much, at least, water bowls/ bird feeders/ plant at least one tree, that’s why I love the idea of Piyauu, we Indians have this wonderful zeal/ spirits also. Moreover, heat wave deaths or cold waves deaths, both are equally distressing. Global warning? Have a great weekend ahead. 🙂

      1. Nurturing nature should be our motto. Such is the magnitude of the problem that many times we are lost and really don’t know what to do and where to start. From water to air, the level of pollution is no more in our control. The kind of deforestation to the kind of water mismanagement we do and the way are exploiting nature, the distastes are just waiting to happen, it seems we are creating the problem and ready for the consequences. We are just not learning from our mistakes and today these are blunders what we are committing no more mere mistakes. It has now taken epic proportion and we are becoming a mute witness for the catastrophe to happen.
You too have a wonderful weekend.
        Happy Walking!!!

        1. Yes Nihar, we are continuously abusing Mother Nature. We need to be more responsible in our ways. Rights comes with Duties :-). And, the clock is ticking away…I had goosebumps when I saw 2012, I am a Legend movie, few years back. Still feel scary, the kind of depiction of Final Judgement day, doom day would be so much like this? Keep writing! Keep in touch! take care 🙂

          1. Indeed it is scary, we have taken nature for granted and we have become so self-centered and busy living for the present and neglecting everything. Yes, the movies are a reflection on what the society is thinking but only few may be thinking the exploitation of the nature and disaster it can bring, we should all do our bit to make the planet a better place to live for the future generation.

            Happy Writing!!!
You too take care and be in touch.

            2. Always a pleasure to interact and engage on understanding nature better and playing our part in protecting and conserving nature.

Here are few thoughts in my post (nature and nurture)…do we need nature? that is thought on the shortage of water and second on the wild life conversation i.e. nature and tiger.

Yes, happy walking and nurturing our nature…
