Walk With Me Day# 86

A rainy day is the perfect time for a walk in the woods.

~Rachel Carson

Weather seems nice, friendly and cheery when we first walk down to this beautiful place, a hidden gem among lush green meadows, chirping waterfalls,  air smelling fresh and calmness fills your senses. I am talking about the place not so far from our beautiful neighborhood, at Kirtland, Ohio, known as Glenn Penitentiary Reservation.

This reservation has to offer us more than just a mere beautiful hiking site, it has lovely Rain-Gardens, maintained only with the help of Rain Water Harvesting techniques and Kids got excited to see, Rain barrel, working wonders and bringing green joy and green smiles in abundance. We have seen and experience about campfires, life@a day into a wild forest, Rain water harvesting closely while exploring one of other places nearby, Holden Arboretum.

I shall discuss about other fascinating details about Glenn Penitentiary Reservation in my next post.
