full circle challenge ‘haiku’

A new Tokubetsudesu episode. Our Chèvrefeuille challenge us to write a “Full Circle” series of haiku. He says, “I will give you twelve (12) words (for every ”hour”) one word. The goal is to write haiku using the words as given in the clock wise way.
1. Heaven
2. Clouds
3. Palm tree
4. Fountain
5. Goddess
6. Desert
7. Jazz cafe
8. Duke Ellington
9. Summer night
10. Honeysuckle
11. Ancient road
12. Hill

Here is my response in the form of 4 Haiku-

 heaven sent goodbyes
deflated clouds
thirsty palm tree

 koi fish fountain
goddess idol, disfigured
one barren desert

jazz café martini
Duke Ellington music fades
hot summer night

honeysuckle straw-hat

footprints on ancient road

hill alight with fireflies

Walk With Me# 88

Cherry summer cloud happy heart blossoms overgrowing my sunlit soul bursting into nature’s freedom!

~Terri Guillemets

It’s been a while I updated “Walk With Me” series. One of the main reasons being, it’s summers & it’s vacation time. Kids are at home. We welcome one new member to our home, 11 weeks back, a cute pup, which we all named as “Duke”, a JRT (Jack Russell Terrier). You all must have seen my updated snap over my blog at “About Me” section, it’s me holding Duke, the first time we met. ❤ ❤

Today, I am going to share lots of things, that we all did and have done from last couple of weeks, taking “Nature Walks” around Parks/Gardens, or enjoying 3 days feast & fireworks @Home days fest & celebrating 4th of July with family & friends, taking whole day out, visiting one of the nearby city, Canal Fulton, to celebrate and watch 4th of July fireworks with Go-Kart, Dodgems and Water splash fun, non-stop for about 4 hours . It was a great long weekend. Now, I got extra calories to watch out for after my gastronomic extravaganza from couple of weeks. 😀 😀

Last but not least, We also celebrated our 11th Marriage Anniversary in  June ❤ ❤

So, here are few of the snaps I wanted to share with you all. Enjoy & Keep Walking with Me. 🙂 🙂

Breathless, we flung us on a windy hill,
Laughed in the sun, and kissed the lovely grass.
