This week Prompt- DARKNESS

“This isn’t good, you have to pull your life together, decide, for yourself, no one else is going to do that for you”, voice commanded her.

She nodded lying in battered & beaten state; the domestic abuse was a ritual for her life, culminating it into this indefensible reality, as she lay fragile in that hospital bed, pulling herself out of darkness of her fears, submissiveness and lost self-esteem. She contemplated and promised herself once more to fight back these demons of darkness, ignorance and self-pity.
